Description
There have been various spirits reported at this location. One of the most well known is the spirit of a man, believed to be former cavalry officer Old Bedlam, who has been seen and heard telling the living to “Be quiet!”. Another is the spirit of an unknown man, nicknamed George by locals, who likes to open prank the living by closing doors and make sudden unembodied sounds of heavy footsteps. On some mornings, during reveille time, there have been reports of unembodied heavy footsteps on the boardwalk in front of the barracks.
