It is said the Indian Meadows and adjacent Shady Grove communities are built on a Cherokee burial ground. On Burgundy Drive there have been various reports of shadow figures. Residents have also claimed to find claw marks on their homes or to be followed by shadow figures. Inside homes there have been reports of strange voices and sounds, appliances turning on and off by themselves and doors opening or closing on their own.
