Description
In 1863, Colonel Kit Carson order tromps to the end of the canyon to attack the Navajo within. The resulting massacre led to the surrender of the Navajo and led to their removal to Bosque Redondo, New Mexico. There have been reports of the sounds of the massacre including voices, shouting, screaming, crying, and death.
