Description
There are two local legends assocaited with this location. The first is that in the 1800’s the town sweetheart was murdered. Her suspected murderer was burned alive in a house across from the cemetery. His tourtured spirits lingers in the house and makes himself known to the living with unembodied heavy footsteps. The other local legend is that if you leave flowers on the grave of a child, who died on the same day as his father, the spirit of the child will appear and thank you later that evening.
