Description
The Coopermill Manor “Used to be a Military base, Now Low income housing is haunted, If your outside late at night you can see a solider now and then”, is how multiple sites by multiple authors state the same information almost exactly. This kicks in my skepticism as it sounds more like a story being retold than one’s own experience with a spirit.
What can be proved in Coopermill Manor is a low income housing complex. It was originally built for servicemen and their families. From reviews and accounts I was able to find it appears there are a number of individuals living in and near the manor that are struggling with drug addictions. I could find no singular description of the soldier, where he appeared, what decade or war he might be related to. In all likelihood it could be actual soldiers in uniform visiting family and friends in the area and someone on a bad drug trip (hallucination) sees them as a spirit in some way. In traveling down the rabbit hole I could not find a first hand account from anyone claiming to have seen the spirit. Therefore I believe this once can be marked as debunked.
