Description
There were reports of the spirit of a man who may have finally found peace. Local legend claims that starting in 1987, the cemetery caretaker began to see the spirit of an elderly man in a white cowboy hat. The spirit followed the caretaker and began to help with chores around the cemetery. Eventually, the caretaker thought the spirit looked like the late husband of an elderly widow in town. After the elderly widow passed in May of 1988 and was buried alongside her late husband, the spirit of the man in the white cowboy hat stopped appearing.
